These traditional controls don’t feel as intuitive as the motion controls the game was clearly built around. For example, you now use the right analog stick to replicate waving your hands around to perform actions. Fortunately, Skyward Sword HD utilizes a standard control scheme. Plus, the motion controls wouldn’t work in handheld mode. The fact that they were mandatory in the original game turned off many people. Not everyone likes motion controls, though.
